THE GOAL OF MONEY

THE GOAL OF MONEY

I was fortunate to see a presentation by Suze Orman on PBS Monday March 17, 2014. It was more of a motivational seminar addressing how to get out of debt and meet your financial dreams. She started it by asking her audience “What is Money’s goal?”

There was a silence from the audience for a few seconds until from the back of the room someone shouted, “security!”

That’s right she told them, “Money gives you security.”

And we know she’s right. She continued with some very good background information about herself and it was impressive. She had worked as a waitress before getting the idea of opening her own restaurant, reminded me of Mildred Pierce. Her father didn’t have the twenty thousand she needed and she knew it before she even asked. That reminded me of Mitt Romney advising young voters to borrow money from their parents.

Suze spoke the truth. Money’s addiction and its sense of security it bestows on us once we have it, and plenty of it secures us in its grasp and squeezes our hearts until it is the size of a black marble. Now although it gives us the sense of security it also gives us a fear of being without it; going broke and having no one to turn to.

Just about all of us are insanely ignorant at the oppressively degenerate game that has been played on us throughout these past decades. These individuals who have learned to play this money & power game or have just been fortunate to have been born with it are themselves oblivious to the harm they cause. Those who know are today playing in earnest to stay in control regardless of the loss of life.

It can be explained easily if you can imagine a poker game with four players. Three of them are business men and one of them is a working stiff. Each weekend they meet and play well into the night and early into the next morning. What makes this one poker game interesting is the fact that the three business men collaborate to cheat the working stiff out of his money.

One night while the three business men are waiting for the working stiff to arrive one of them says, "hey we're all friends here why don't we just stop cheating and tell the working stiff we're sorry and we won't do it again?"

The other business men's eyes open wide and their eyebrows rise in dismay. "Do you want to eat with your own teeth tomorrow?" they caution.

Corporations throughout the world are hording money, not paying taxes to their governments. Citizens of this world are not being informed or lead to do anything regarding the blatant sick criminal starvation of humanity as if it is normal for the few to do as they please while humanity dies of starvation and war; solely because of the uncompassionate and the callousness of the affluent government elites.

We should remember that there are many millionaires and billionaires that set a good example in the world by donating substantial amounts of their profit through charity programs and other needy services.

This writer having worked for a large oil company and a conglomerate I can vow for employees that are working for corporations and world wide conglomerates. All of these employees pay a sum from five dollars to 25 to 50 dollars per pay check to various charities the world over so although we can demonize big companies for what they do in polluting and jacking prices up on us we need to keep in mind that the employees are who's ear we need to reach.

However few of us are capable of dropping everything we have been taught about the structure of this whole monetary system; and exchange it for a monetary system that does not use any currency of any kind.

It is coming soon we will be using a digital system which will awaken us to the fact that humanity can only rise above, hunger, illiteracy, criminal enterprises, and corrupt governments by moving into collective corporate ownerships and holding investment only through and for collective employees.
